Who we are

Purer Living is founded by Romana Reynolds. She is solely responsible for using and storing your data in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Legislation. 

What personal data is collected

On arrangement of an initial consultation session via email or telephone, when you visit www.purerliving.com and fill in the contact form, or when you attend an event you may be asked for your name, email address, home address and contact telephone number. All personal data collected is stored in a password protected email account and computer.

Purer Living will not pass on your personal data to third parties. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law or protect ours or others' safety.

How will the information be used?

To send emails regarding your query, booking and consultation session.

I set up a client record and invoicing system.

Client testimonials and photographs may be used for marketing and on social media as an exemplary to others. Permission will always be asked prior to taking and sharing any photographs and or testimonials. Photographs are taken and used as a progress record for the client.

To ensure that we only market services or send promotional emails to you if you have given us your permission to do so.   The data collected will be used to improve our services offered by conducting market research on our services and your interests relating to them. This may be via email, phone or mail.

What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?

The GDPR came into force on 25 May 2018. Processing of personal information must be undertaken under one of the six legal grounds for processing. Purer Living holds two:

1. Consent: By providing your personal data you are giving consent to Purer Living storing your data. 
2. Contract: When you book a consultation session your information will be used to perform the services required by Purer Living. 

How long will the data be stored for?

Personal data is only kept for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. If Purer Living works directly with you then a record of this work will be kept for 5 years to comply with legal and tax obligations. At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised so that your data is non-identifiable for the purpose of analysis and business planning in aggregation with other data.

Links to other websites

The Purer Living website may contain links to other websites or third-party products that are not owned or controlled by us and have their own privacy policies. Therefore, Purer Living has no responsibility or liability for the content or activities of them and recommend that you familiarise yourself with their policies.

What rights does the data subject have?

You have the right to request to see or amend any personal data that we hold on you at any time and to withdraw your consent at any time. If you do, we’ll update our records immediately to reflect your wishes. 

You have the ‘right to erasure’ should you wish your details to be deleted. Please contact Purer Living at romana@purerliving.com

If you have any concerns about how Purer Living is handling your personal data, you have the right to make a complaint to The Information Commissioner's Office. This privacy policy is effective from 30th August 2018.
